Great visit today from: BARNSLEY FOOTBALL CLUB
And it looks like (from where I was standing) that there is some very good table tennis players among them. This was a team building exercise knockout competition, and turned out to be very competitive as well as very noisy (especially from the team coach). All in all a very enjoyable event to watch and seemed to be enjoyed by all who played as well. You're welcome back anytime guys.

It is very sad to report the death of a great former Barnsley table tennis champion, Brian Biggar.
Brian was Veterans Champion in the seasons (65/66) - (67/68) & (69/70)
I have known Brian for many years and have shared some very happy table tennis memories with him.
Brian is pictured in the Photos section of this website with some of the winning closed championship players of 1970
He will be very sadly missed
